Elevation

Levitation is an allegory of the ultimate protest, because it is a denial of the primal basics of the material existence - gravitation.

It is also a symbol of uplift of spirit and the triumph of spiritual over material, an elevation of minimalism and asceticism over consumerism.

It's a symbol of rejection of the cult of the material consumerist world, which corrupts our nirvanic nature. Levitation means the freedom from the attachments that bring us down to earth like the actual gravity does.
