Merger and aquisition

The ancient city of Kiev, as any other city, constantly goes through architectural changes. It is a normal process of a city's landscape development. However, due to financial reasons this process has been drastic in Kiev. Sometimes it looks out of place and sometimes the historic buildings are put at real risk despite the protests of the locals.
