A flashmob which took place in Kyiv during Euromaidan events, a week after the crackdown, on 8 Dec 2013. In the general atmosphere of fear, bewilderment and anger girls went to police that guarded buildings, gave them flowers and chanted "don't beat, but love and protect"

A flashmob took place in 7 international airports of Ukraine simultaneously. Orchestras performed the Ode of Joy for the unity of Ukraine and to commemorate the Heavenly Hundred.

The Russian propaganda popularized an opinion of the hostility towards Russian and Russian speaking people from the side of Ukrainians. As a Russian speaking person myself, I wanted to proove that is untrue and found two men from Russia who were Russian citizens, supporting the Ukrainian revolution and living at Maidan. People anticipate the arrival of the Holy Fire in the Kiev Pechersk Lavra. The Holy Fire is described by Orthodox Christians as a miracle that occurs every year at the Church of the Holy Sepulchre in Jerusalem on the day preceding Orthodox Easter. It is taken to big centres of Orthodox Christianity by special flights and the arrival of the Holy Fire becomes a big local religious event. It does not burn for the first time, so people can touch it. The scientific nature of it is not explained officially.
