West Bank
2011
The political situation in the region is highly complicated and I had no intention to touch any politics when photographing in the West Bank. I was curious about the place and people when I went there during three days in 2011.
I am just a neutral observer.
The Dome of the Rock mosque is located in Jerusalem, not in the West Bank, but it logically connects to this series and it looks good, this is why it is here.

The owner of this house is from South America, married to a local woman. They were living in this house when the dividing wall was built right next to it. The owner was afraid whether we intend to do any harm taking pictures. On the picture is one of his three children.
